Why WWE Star Is Grateful For Triple H – “I’ve Cried To Him”
A rising star in WWE is glad to have Triple H as a boss and somebody who knows what it’s like to be a WWE superstar.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque is a 2-time WWE Hall of Famer who wrestled for nearly 30 years before putting on the suit to become the company’s Chief Content Officer.
As the WWE CCO, Triple H’s job is to run the creative team for the company’s main roster while also managing the talent. That means communicating with the wrestlers when they feel up, down, and everywhere else in between.
Lash Legend is a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion who signed with WWE in December 2020 after being a successful college basketball player. By September 2021, she was a regular on NXT TV and would remain on the brand for nearly four years before being called up to the main roster.
While speaking to The Sportster, Lash Legend expressed gratitude to Triple H for his trust in her.
“I feel like in any program I’ve been a part of, in any sports background, NXT to now the main roster, I’ve always been the type where I always want to be around a player’s coach.
I am the type of athlete, the type of talent that not only goes hard for the program, my teammates, but I’ve always went hard for those who went hard for me.
In this case, it’s Hunter, and I feel like he’s put me in these amazing opportunities and trusted me with coming up to the main roster, some people are saying fast-tracked, whatever it is. He has trusted me, and he has given me these opportunities to showcase exactly who I am, the talent that I have.”
Triple H’s Support Means A Lot To Lash Legend
Lash, who is engaged to fellow WWE SmackDown star Trick Williams, revealed she has cried to Triple H and made it clear that he knows how much she appreciates his support.
“I’ve just been really grateful for that. It doesn’t go unnoticed, trust me. We’ve had talks, I’ve cried to him, a whole bunch of things that I’m just like, this is special, and any opportunity that I’m getting, I’m going to just go hard every single time.
“I’m super grateful for Hunter, and hopefully he knows that, because I tell him that all the time.” (H/T Wrestletalk)
Triple H will likely be on hand at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23rd in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to see Lash Legend attempt to become a 2-time Women’s Tag Team Champion.
At Saturday Night’s Main Event, The Irresistible Forces team of Lash Legend and Nia Jax will try to win back the Women’s Tag Team Titles from Paige and Brie Bella, who won the titles last month at WrestleMania 42.
