Why Bayley Almost Cried Backstage At WWE RAW

Bayley confessed to tearing up after this week’s episode of RAW.

The Role Model had teamed up with Lyra Valkyria to face Nia Jax and Lash Legend for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. The match ended in a no-contest, killing their chances to enter WrestleMania 42 as titleholders. However, this wasn’t the reason why the WWE Horsewoman ended up crying.

Bayley Unexpectedly Stumbled Into the Torch of Her Legacy

The former two-time WWE Women’s Champion took to X and uploaded a picture where she was seen with a little girl. The young fan met the 36-year-old superstar backstage and had donned a Lodestone Wrestling t-shirt.

Notably, Lodestone is Bayley’s wrestling school, which only caters to women wrestlers. Captioning the post, she wrote that seeing the girl don the tee of her school made her shed tears and that she wished to see the young girl in the ring someday.

Lodestone has received a lot of appreciation from several of its students as well as WWE legends. Many established veterans, like Natalya, Charlotte Flair, and others, often join Bayley to assist her in teaching her students.

Moreover, John Cena had also shown up at her school ahead of his retirement to give personal guidance to her students. Interestingly, WWE recently signed the 2024 Rokkie of the Year, Nikki Blackheart. The highly in-demand independent wrestler is notably a Lodestone alumnus.

Aside from this, while The Role Model and Lyra Valkyria couldn’t win the Women’s Tag Team Championship, they will still be heading to WrestleMania 42. Owing to their title defenses always getting meddled with, The Irresistible Forces will put their belts on the line in a Fatal Four Way match in Las Vegas.

Thus, Legend and Jax will be up against the teams of Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, Brie & Nikki Bella, and Lyra Valkyria & Bayley. It would be interesting to see who emerges with the titles once the dust settles in the Allegiant Stadium.
