Vince McMahon Returning To WWE Before The End Of 2026 Is Possible, Says Veteran

A veteran claimed that Vince McMahon could return to the WWE before the end of this year. The veteran in question is Vince Russo.

After serving as the chairman of WWE for decades, Vince McMahon announced his retirement in 2022. He later came back to finalize a new deal, which led to TKO Group becoming the new owners of the Stamford-based promotion. Vince was later forced to leave the company following some heinous se*ual allegations against him.

While it seems WWE has moved on from Vince McMahon with Triple H as the creative head and TKO as the owner, some people believe that Vince could still make his way back into the company.

Speaking on The Coach & Bro Show recently, Vince Russo said that he will not be surprised to see Vince McMahon back in the WWE, considering the timing of the settlement with shareholders and the Janel Grant lawsuit moving to private arbitration:

I just want to throw this out there now. The timing of settling with the shareholders and literally a week later, him and Janel [Grant] going to arbitration? Coach, I would not be the least bit surprised if by the end of the year, Vince [McMahon] was back in that WWE saddle.”

Russo further claimed that Vince McMahon could be back in the business if Janel Grant’s allegations against him go away:

Because the timing of these two things… this to me is Vince saying, ‘clear the palette, let’s end all of this.’ Because now the shareholder thing is over. If the Janel Grant thing goes away, I just think Vince is back in business. And I think that’s going to happen before 2027. I really do.”

WWE Hall of Famer wants Vince McMahon back in WWE

The WWE Hall of Famer, Teddy Long recently claimed that WWE needs to bring Vince McMahon to get fans back on board because he loved this:

I think what we got to do, we got to get Vince back so we can do this thing right and get the fans back on board.”

I don’t think the chapter has ever closed with him. I think Vince, the way that I, like I said, I don’t know what happened or any of that stuff, but to me, in my knowing him, this was his life. He loved this.”

Only time will tell if Vince McMahon will be back in WWE.
