Updated WWE Money in the Bank Lineup for July 18 – Four Matches Announced Including Money in the Bank Ladder Match Competitors

The next WWE pay-per-view is Money in the Bank on Sunday, July 18 from Dickies Arena (I didn’t name it) in Fort Worth, Texas. There are some pay-per-views where WWE takes their time to announce matches, but in this case they announced four matches on last night’s Raw. Keep in mind that it’s four weeks until Money in the Bank, so good job by WWE announcing several matches and Money in the Bank match participants already. It should boost ticket sales if Money in the Bank isn’t completely sold out yet.

The WWE Championship will be on the line with Kofi Kingston challenging the All Mighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley. Kingston reminded Lashley that he beat him on Raw several weeks ago (with help from Drew McIntyre) and Lashley was sick of Kofi talking about it, so Lashley agreed to it.

The Raw Women’s Championship will be a rematch from Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view with Rhea Ripley defending her title against Charlotte Flair. That was obvious since Flair won that match by disqualification. It could be a stipulation match, but nothing has been announced yet.

There were three men’s Money in the Bank qualifying matches for three of the eight spots in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Ricochet beat AJ Styles, John Morrison beat Randy Orton and Riddle beat Drew McIntyre. All three wins were relatively clean and considered upsets too.

Next week on Raw, they announced Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles. The winner of that match will get Raw’s fourth spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

On the women’s side, Asuka & Naomi beat Eva Marie & Doudrop (Piper Niven’s new name for now) to earn two of the eight spots in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Also, Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross beat Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax to gain entry in the MITB Ladder Match. That means four of the eight women in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match are set.

Here’s the WWE Money in the Bank lineup as of right now:

WWE Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Kofi Kingston

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Ricochet vs. John Morrison vs. Riddle vs. five more wrestlers.

Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Asuka vs. Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Nikki Cross vs. four more wrestlers.

Raw Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

There will likely be Money in the Bank qualifying matches on Smackdown as well.
