Updated SummerSlam Lineup Following Last Night’s WWE SmackDown & 205 Live

Four new matches were added to this year’s WWE SummerSlam lineup following last night’s editions of Smackdown and 205 Live. SummerSlam will take place on Sunday, August 20 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

More matches will be added in the next two and a half weeks, but this is what the card looks like as of right now.

WWE Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe vs. Braun Strowman

WWE Championship: Jinder Mahal (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

United States Championship: AJ Styles (c) vs. Kevin Owens (with Shane McMahon as the referee)

Randy Orton vs. Rusev

Raw Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Bayley

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Naomi (c) vs. Natalya

Cruiserweight Championship: Neville (c) vs. Akira Tozawa – Tozawa earned his shot by beating Ariya Daivari on 205 Live last night.

Other matches that have been teased on this week’s Raw and Smackdown and are likely to take place at SummerSlam are:

– The Miz vs. Jason Jordan for the Intercontinental Championship

– Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

– Sheamus and Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the Raw Tag Team Championships

– Big Cass vs. Big Show

– John Cena vs. Baron Corbin

– New Day vs. The Usos for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles

There may also be a three way tag team match featuring The Hardy Boyz, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and The Revival as well.

After Smackdown went off the air last night and continued briefly on WWE Network, Corbin came out and attacked Shinsuke Nakamura. John Cena rushed the ring to make the save and began brawling with Corbin. The action spilled outside which led to Cena putting Corbin through the announce table with an AA.
