A new report seems to confirm who is planned to compete in the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series – including one surprising star given recent circumstances.

A brawl between eight men at the conclusion of the 1th November 2022 edition of Friday Night SmackDown has led to plenty of speculation that those competitors will be the ones stepping inside the steel structure later this month.

With The Bloodline in the ring proclaiming their dominance, they were confronted by The Brawling Brutes who were joined by the returning Sheamus. This led to a brawl which also brought out Drew McIntyre, with the fight continuing as the show went off the air.

A new report from Mike Johnson at Pro Wrestling Insider claims that these eight men will indeed by part of the WarGames match at Survivor Series. The report notes that Sami Zayn, who was absent at SmackDown, is set to join The Bloodline, whilst the opposition team will be completed by Kevin Owens.

This comes as some surprise after Kevin Owens was seemingly injured at a live event in Wisconsin this past weekend. Whilst it is noted that the injury isn’t seen as overly serious on first glance, it would certainly lead to an air of caution around putting Owens in to a match of this nature.

Survivor Series is also set to feature Damage CTRL taking part in the women’s WarGames match, Ronda Rousey facing Shotzi, and AJ Styles taking on Finn Balor.
