Unlikely WWE Tag Team Teased

WWE NXT battle royal New Year's Evil Wendy Choo Sol Ruca Nikkita Lyons Alba Fyre Thea Hail

Thea Hail appears to have a new ally in NXT.

Hail competed against Jacy Jayne on the August 15th episode of NXT, losing the match after Andre Chase distracted the Chase U member. Devastated by the loss, Hail confronted the referee backstage after the match and demanded that the result be removed from her record as she was unfairly distracted. The WWE Official would regretfully inform Hail that the result will still stand, much to the annoyance of Hail.

The upset Chase U member expressed her annoyance at the result before being approached by Jayne. Thinking another attack was coming, Hail got ready to defend herself before Jayne calmed her down. Jayne credited Hail’s performance in the match, stating that Hail has evolved from the competitor that first walked into the locker room.

Jayne reassured Hail by saying that everyone has been let down by someone, before offering advice that Hail will get through the frustrations. Jayne ended by saying that “People like us always get through it.”

Thea Hail’s Frustrations With Andre Chase In WWE NXT Continue

The leader of Chase U believes that he simply has the best interest of his student in mind, but Hail strongly disagrees. At The Great American Bash, Hail competed in her most important match to date, challenging Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women’s Championship in a submission match. Once again, Chase was the deciding factor in the match, throwing in the towel to protect Hail but causing the match to come to a sudden end.

Jacy Jayne has been competing in singles competition since her lengthy partnership with Toxic Attraction partner Gigi Dolin came to an end back in February.
