There are two NXT stars working WWE tapings that are being considered for main roster spots during the upcoming WWE Draft.

When WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced the WWE Draft was coming, he made it clear that every WWE Superstar would be eligible to be drafted to Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown.

This Friday on the April 28th edition of WWE Smackdown, the WWE Draft will begin with some wrestlers going to Raw and others going to Smackdown.

As is usually the case when it comes to the WWE Draft, there are a lot of rumors about who goes where during the WWE Draft. That also includes the NXT brand because WWE hasn’t hesitated in calling up stars from the developmental brand and bringing them up to Raw or Smackdown when they are ready.

Prior to WWE going live with Monday Night Raw on Mondays, they usually tape two matches that air on Main Event. For most of the last year, the matches have featured NXT wrestlers competing against main roster talent. It’s a way for WWE to get a closer look at how their top NXT stars will do with the main roster talent.

The Twitter account @WRKDWrestling, which has been accurate about a number of news stories in recent months, mentioned two NXT stars that are being considered for Raw and/or Smackdown in the WWE Draft.

“Two names scheduled to be working dark tapings during tomorrow’s #WWERaw are Cora Jade and Joe Gacy. They are both also seen as potential draft call-ups.”

Cora Jade has a bright future after turning heel on Roxanne Perez last year. Meanwhile, Joe Gacy has been the leader of the Schism group over the last year.

Recently, PWInsider reported the following NXT stars are being considered for WWE main roster spots as well: Cameron Grimes, Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince), Ilja Dragunov & Zoey Stark.

Find out who goes where during the WWE Draft this Friday on Smackdown and it continues next Monday on Raw as well.
