Two Matches Announced for WWE SummerSlam on Aug. 23 – McIntyre vs. Orton for WWE Title

The first two matches have been announced for WWE SummerSlam on August 23. There are rumors about possible locations for SummerSlam including some beach or even a boat, but for now it’s just a rumor. It’s possible that the location will remain at the WWE Performance Center like most Raw, Smackdown and PPV shows since mid-March.

Last night on Raw, the WWE Championship match was announced for SummerSlam with Drew McIntyre defending the title against Randy Orton, who issued the challenge at the start of the show. McIntyre accepted later on.

The other SummerSlam match announced will see the Street Profits defending the Raw Tag Team Titles against Andrade and Angel Garza, who won a triple threat tag team match on Raw.
