Truth Behind AEW Star’s Public Visit To WWE Raw Revealed

Matt Hardy might be an AEW star but he was present at WWE Raw and now the real reason for his visit has come to light.

Wrestling stars visiting shows is nothing new and recently several WWE stars were in attendance for Mercedes Mone’s big debut in AEW. Now Matt Hardy has visited Raw when it came to his home state of North Carolina with his wife Reby. The visit might have remained low-key but Reby Hardy shared a video of the pair at the show openly on her social media.

Much had been made about Hardy’s visit as the star’s AEW contract is believed to be nearing its end. That led to rumours that Matt Hardy could be angling for a return to WWE once again but was that the reason for his Raw visit?

AEW’s Matt Hardy Did Not Meet WWE Officials

Fightful Select reported that Hardy did not meet with WWE officials during his visit to the show. It was also noted that a friend of Reby Hardy had invited the pair to sit in a suite at the PNC Arena for the show and the couple remained there for around ninety minutes.

The sharing of the video of the visit did not go down well with all onlookers, however, as Dave Meltzer suggested Matt Hardy’s Raw visit was a slap in the face to AEW.
