Truth About Drew McIntyre Stepping Away From WWE Revealed
Drew McIntyre caused quite the furor on WWE SmackDown.
The Scottish Warrior opened the show on March 13, complaining about his title loss to Cody Rhodes last week, prompting general manager Nick Aldis and rival Jacob Fatu to intervene.
When Fatu goaded McIntyre into attacking him, the Scotsman opted to walk away, claiming he was quitting.
There were a couple of references to him during the show, but he was nowhere to be seen. Fans speculated that his ‘quitting’ might be related to his filming schedule with Hollywood star Henry Cavill.
However, he made his presence felt during Fatu’s match against Trick Williams, costing The Samoan Werewolf the match. Soon after, he laid out the 33-year-old star with a Claymore Kick.
Since then, there have been discussions about Drew McIntyre potentially leaving for a few days to complete his obligations to the upcoming Highlander movie.
Now, Steve Carrier of Ringside News has confirmed that the 40-year-old is not going anywhere, at least for the time being.

Drew McIntyre’s Opponent For Next Week’s SmackDown Revealed
Drew McIntyre’s interference in Jacob Fatu’s match did not sit well with Nick Aldis.
Before the main event contract signing segment between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, Aldis addressed the McIntyre situation.
Calling out the former Undisputed WWE Champion, the SmackDown GM said that McIntyre will face Fatu in a singles match next week.
Initially, there were speculations about a match between them for WrestleMania 42. Nevertheless, fans are getting the fight several weeks in advance.
Whether or not next week’s match between them cuminates into something for the Show of Shows remains to be seen.
