Trish Stratus Names WWE’s Best Era
Trish Stratus thinks she was part of the best era of WWE history.
The WWE 2K26 video game will be available in March and will feature four different covers. CM Punk is on a cover, WWE Hall of Famer Triple H is on a cover, there’s a Monday Night Wars cover about the rivalry between WWE-WCW from the late 1990s, and there’s an Attitude Era cover as well.
Triple H is actually on three of the video game covers, so there’s a lot of the WWE Chief Content Officer in this year’s game.
Trish Stratus joined the WWE roster in early 2000 during the Attitude Era. The Attitude Era’s unofficial start date is considered to be early 1997, around WrestleMania 13, when Steve Austin turned babyface, and Bret Hart turned heel in their legendary Hall of Fame match. The end of the Attitude Era is generally considered to be around WrestleMania 17 in 2001, when WWE bought WCW.
In an interview with Knockouts and 3 Counts, Trish Stratus talked about being on the cover of The Attitude Era edition of WWE 2K26 and also boldly claimed that The Attitude Era was the best era of them all.
“I think I’m on the cover still. It’s pretty cool. I love that we’re celebrating the best era, the Attitude Era. But also the fact that it’s got the largest roster ever, 400 plus superstars, and we have my girls from the, we like to say, the Golden Era.
We have the girls from the Golden Era there, and it’s just great. You know, Victoria is so excited to be in the game. It’s just, it’s really one of those like just you made it, you know, when we did the stuff we did, we made history. We tried to lay a foundation and to see it being celebrated is a good thing.” (H/T Fightful)
Trish Stratus Happy To Be A “First Crush” For WWE Fans
During an appearance on SmackDown in the summer of 2025, Trish Stratus memorably wore a “First Crush” shirt. During a recent interview, Stratus said many fans talk to her about being their first crush, and she’s embracing it.
“When I was on — it was like about a year ago — I wore the shirt on SmackDown. Everyone’s like, it resonated with everyone. They’re like, ‘That was my… you’re speaking to me.’ And so it’s kind of cool that I’m still at this point able to be — I’m also still their crush. That’s what’s cool, you know? It wasn’t like you were back when you were. I’m still their crush.”
“They started to be like, I was at signings and they’re like, ‘Could you write, um, your first crush?’ I’m like, I got you, you know? So now it’s like, let’s just go with this, you know. We’re going to go whole — do a whole thing with it.”
