Triple H May Have Already Teased WWE’s Sale To Saudi Arabia

Triple H Saudi Arabia WWE

For several months, chatter about a potential sale of WWE to Saudi Arabia has prevailed.

The discussion often took place on The Coach & Bro podcast, hosted by Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo, both of whom are former employees of the Stamford-based company.

During a recent podcast, Coachman claimed that he heard whispers about something being discussed backstage about the Saudi Arabia takeover.

I get a call, and I’ve been told that our narrative [of Saudi Arabia buying WWE] that we’ve been preaching for six months to a year has started to become a topic of conversation, and that a lot of people agree with us.

The whole purpose of having the Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia in January—which is now this month—is a test. A test to see how Saudi Arabia addresses, holds PLEs, and things of that nature. Then, in 15 months, when WrestleMania goes to the same country, that would be the ideal time [for the takeover]. It’s not only becoming a topic that you and I talk about, but it’s actually being talked about backstage in the WWE.

New Hint Emerges About WWE’s Possible Sale To Saudi Arabia

Before the 2026 Royal Rumble, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H shared a picture from the newly opened office in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh.

Coachman produced the same picture on the latest episode of the podcast as he revealed new details about the wrestling promotion’s possible sale to Saudi Arabia.

Vince Russo said:

With that picture you just showed, there was a quote from Triple H, and I believe in the quote, he talked about all the great things coming with Saudi Arabia. He specifically said that, and when I read that, I’m like…they’re teasing this thing now. Now we’re seeing the office, now he’s talking about great things coming down the pike with Saudi Arabia. I think they are slowly but surely getting the people used to this. [35:55 onwards]
