Triple H, Ric Flair And More Pay Tribute To Kevin Sullivan

Stars of the past and present have paid tribute to the late, great Kevin Sullivan.

On August 9th, it was reported that Kevin Sullivan passed away at the age of 74. The former WCW star had been dealing with serious health issues for several months.

Sullivan had an impact on the wrestling industry that is still felt today, both with his work in the ring and behind the scenes as a booker in WCW. Triple H has led tributes to the legendary star, praising his unique mind and creativity.

“Kevin Sullivan had one of the most unique minds in the history of our industry, pushing creative boundaries and developing some of the most intriguing characters to step into the ring. He had an unwavering passion for what we do. My thoughts are with his family, friends & fans.”

Elsewhere, Ric Flair called Sullivan an “all-time great athlete” as well as his friend.

“I Am So Saddened To Hear About Kevin Sullivan’s Passing. Rest In Peace Kevin! You Were An All Time Great Athlete & Friend!”

The Wrestling World Pays Tribute To Kevin Sullivan

Diamond Dallas Page worked with Sullivan for many years, and while he admits the pair had “ups and downs,” in the end they grew to love each other. He credits Sullivan for getting him to work harder because he initially didn’t believe in him.

Raw GM Adam Pearce also praised Sullivan, saying his contributions to wrestling are “without question.”
