Triple H Breaks Silence After New WWE Champion Gets Crowned At Clash In Italy

WWE Clash in Italy is in the history books, and it had a few surprises.

Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley successfully defended their titles against Gunther and Jade Cargill, respectively. Brock Lesnar basically squashed Oba Femi in Turin, and the two stars’ rivalry now stands at 1-1.

The main event of Clash in Italy saw Roman Reigns put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Jacob Fatu under Tribal Combat rules. In the closing moments, Reigns put Fatu through a table with a Spear, but the latter somehow managed to get up.

The OTC then connected with a charged-up Spear on Jacob Fatu to get the three-count. The only title change of the night took place during Becky Lynch and Sol Ruca’s match for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. After a back-and-forth encounter, Ruca hit the Sol Snatcher on Lynch to end her reign.

This marked Sol Ruca’s first title win on the WWE main roster. Not long after, Triple H took to X (formerly Twitter) to congratulate Ruca on her big moment.

Becky Lynch issues statement following WWE Clash in Italy

Understandably, Becky Lynch is not pleased one bit with how things went down at the recently concluded premium live event. She shockingly stated that she was robbed of her gold by referee Jessika Carr at Clash in Italy.

During her rant on X, Lynch also claimed she suffered a “severe hematoma” in the match against Sol Ruca.

Last night I was once again ROBBED of my title by CROOKED CARR!!! CLEARLY I had SO SAD SOL pinned for MORE than the count of three when Carr INEXPLICABLY DOVE out of the ring!!!! A TOTAL MESS!!! I soldiered on but suffered a severe hematoma (my lawyers are looking into ROTTEN RUCAs footwear. They suspect they’re not regulatory!) Doctors say they’re SHOCKED I was able to continue but I told them YOU CANT HOLD DOWN THE MAN!!!!

It will be interesting to see if The Man targets Ruca on Monday Night RAW tonight.
