Triple H Accused Of Misbooking Beloved WWE Star: “Maybe It Was Personal”
It’s been suggested that Triple H’s mishandling of one major faction in WWE could be personal.
The Wyatt Sicks are carrying on the legacy of the late Bray Wyatt in WWE. The group is led by Wyatt’s real-life brother Bo Dallas and includes Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, and Erick Rowan. The Wyatt Sicks recently lost the WWE Tag Team Championship to Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga, and one WWE icon thinks Triple H has dropped the ball with the group completely.
Triple H Struggling With The Wyatt Sicks?
Speaking on his Off The Top podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi wondered if WWE’s apparent dropping the ball on the Wyatt Sicks could be more personal than business:
I’m going to try to put my personal feelings away, because I have love and respect to the Rotunda family. But I just felt from the start that after the brother, we all gathered together to really kind of hold on to that memory of Bray. And when we seen the Brother Bo come in, to be able to carry on that same character and so forth.
It was so kind of personal to a lot of the wrestling fans. You can imagine the pressure for the brother, right? That knowing that him stepping into a character that his brother created. And you know you either got to be as good as your brother or better.
Bo is a good, good wrestler but the thing is, for us as talent, we can only do so much in there, like we need all the pieces of the puzzle to be able to fit. The writing team, the effects team. So at the end of the day, I feel that maybe the team has dropped the ball on him, I don’t know. Maybe it was personal, or they just gave up on Bo’s team.
I think now it’s where do you go, and not unless they’re coming back for a special match for WrestleMania. I think they can still be a good, solid team for like Halloween and that time. Because I’m a big fan of the characters, and every single person on there can work. So I don’t feel like, they’re working, that’s holding them back from anything. [h/t WrestlingNews.co]
