Wrestling World Reacts To The Death Of WWE’s Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt

The shocking news of Bray Wyatt’s death has rocked the world of pro wrestling and his friends in the businesses have reacted to it.

There was some tragic news shared tonight by WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who posted early this evening that WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt has passed away. He was just 36 years old. Triple H shared the news in a tweet. The news came from Bray’s father Mike Rotunda.

“Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time.”

During his WWE career that started way back in FCW in 2009 in his early 20s, the man that would become Bray Wyatt was a former WWE Champion and a two-time Universal Champion. Bray was a main eventer for a lot of his WWE career.

In the summer of 2021, WWE released Bray Wyatt, but then he returned in October 2022. Unfortunately, that return only saw Wyatt wrestle one televised match over the last year at Royal Rumble 2023 when he defeated LA Knight in a Pitch Black Match.

This one comes from The Rock.

Im heartbroken over the news of Bray Wyatt’s passing. Always had tremendous respect and love for him and the Rotunda family. Loved his presence, promos, in ring work and connection with

@wweuniverse. Very unique, cool and rare character, which is hard to create in our crazy world of pro wrestling. Still processing losing the goat, Terry Funk yesterday and now Bray today. My love, light, strength & mana to the Rotunda family and Funk family during this tough, heartbreaking time. As always, ‘thank you for the house’ #ohana

There are many others below including Alexa Bliss, who was paired with Wyatt on screen and Big E, who knew him for nearly 15 years and many others that Wyatt impacted as well.
