“They Would’ve Killed Him” – Triple H Allegedly Risked WWE Star’s Life
This WWE star was at the epicenter of some major drama in 2025, which was unpacked in WWE: Unreal Episode 2.
R-Truth (Real Name: Ron Killings) is a popular WWE star who was released by the company last June, or so everyone thought, after Truth announced on social media that the Stamford-based promotion wasn’t renewing his contract.
However, at the Money In The Bank PLE a few days later, a hooded figure appeared and interfered in the match between the team of John Cena & Logan Paul and the team of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso, attacking John Cena and costing his team the bout.
The hooded man was revealed to be R-Truth.
Although WWE fans were rallying against the company after Truth’s release, demanding they get him back, and were excited when he returned, it is still unclear whether the higher-ups actually released Truth and got him back based on fan backlash or whether it was a kayfabe storyline or if there was another reason entirely.
This is explained in WWE: Unreal Season 2 Episode 2, which focuses on R-Truth and his contract renewal saga. CCO Triple H explains that it was a negotiation tactic and that truth was never technically fired, attempting to put to bed the controversy surrounding the entire event.
This explanation isn’t convincing to some, especially Johnathan Coachman and Vince Russo, who discussed the matter on Coach & Bro in a recent episode.
Vince Russo and Johnathan Coachman Say WWE Star R-Truth Would’ve Gotten “Killed”.
The pair discusses the fact that the wrestlers in the aforementioned Money in the Bank Bout weren’t aware of the return until the match began. Coach says that if the wrestlers hadn’t been informed at all about who the hooded person was, R-Truth would’ve gotten “killed”.
They then discuss R-Truth’s contract negotiation itself and opine that WWE is covering things up in the Unreal Episode.
Coachman reveals from his experience that once someone is released from WWE, that star can’t find a way back, which makes Triple H’s “negotiation tactic” explanation for Truth’s release questionable.
When Coach says that WWE is feeding everyone lies by making this the official version via Unreal, Russo adds by saying that the company didn’t want R-Truth, and that’s why they fired him.
They clearly didn’t want him. If if that’s a guy you want, you’re not going to go through negotiations that way.
You’re going to try to obviously they no longer wanted him on the roster and obviously if anything, they were going to lowball him. My god, bro. I the fact that they try to distort, change, lie about the truth.
I Bro, they they are so intertwined in this bubble. They don’t realize that normal people see right through this crap. They they don’t they don’t re they really think they’re working us, man. (18:46 onwards)
