Top WWE Couple Is Allegedly “Protected” Inside Company

A WWE couple allegedly receives special treatment from the company’s higher-ups.

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch are considered two of the top superstars in WWE today. While The Man currently holds the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, her husband is out of action due to injury.

Before his forced absence, The Visionary was in a feud with CM Punk. The former Shield Member has been vocal about his real-life heat with The Second City Saint.

Rollins recently addressed his beef with Punk again in an interview with Club Shay Shay, claiming that the latter was a “rotten friend,” adding that they would probably never bury the hatchet until maybe after they retire from wrestling.

Ex-WWE Star Claims Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch Are “Protected”

During a recent episode of the Master Class podcast, former WWE star Danny Burch discussed Seth Rollins’ latest comments about CM Punk with his co-host, The Master Emir.

After Emir suggested that Rollins and Lynch should get fired for causing trouble, he asked Burch whether he thinks Rollins would face repercussions for his comments. The former NXT star disclosed that he does not believe that would happen, claiming the power couple is “protected” in the company.

Emir: If I had two troublemakers like Mr. and Mrs. Becky Lynch in my company, I’d fire both their a**es because we know Becky came out and she made that statement that there’s a predator in the WWE locker room, which no one’s investigated yet.

(…) And now you got Mr. Becky Lynch coming out and causing controversy with Uncle Paul’s golden boy, the golden child himself, the most corporate man in wrestling history, the corporate man CM Punk. So, do you think there will be repercussions eventually for the two Lynches? Do you think they’re gonna Lynch themselves?

Burch: Nope. Because they’re protected.

Emir: Protected by whom?

Burch: Just they’re protected. So, nothing that happens between those whatever, no one’s gonna know. That’s protected. And it’s Becky Lynch and it’s Seth Rollins, the two top female, top male representatives over there right now. [2:50 onwards]
