Top WWE Champion “Very Banged Up” Following SmackDown

WWE Womens US United States Title

WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia was pretty hurt after her match on WWE SmackDown.

The 32-year-old star faced Tiffany Stratton in a non-title match on the March 27, 2026, episode of the blue brand in Pittsburgh. Stratton nearly won the match after hitting a Swanton Bomb off the top rope.

However, as she prepared to deliver the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, Kiana James, who was at ringside, distracted her. This allowed Giulia to recover, get her knees up, and roll Stratton up for the three-count victory.

WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia’s Condition Revealed After Brutal SmackDown Bout

Following the match, professional wrestler Matthew Ennis, who is Giulia’s personal trainer, revealed that she was “very banged up” after her bout against Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown.

He explained that she had pain in her lower back, knees, hips, and shoulders, which forced them to skip their planned full lower-body workout and led them to do a full-body routine focusing on activation, mobility, and stretching instead.

“Giulia came into her session today very banged up from her championship defense last Friday on SmackDown. Normally, this would be our full lower body day, but today was not a good day for that because she was in so much pain. Low back pain, knee pain, hip pain, shoulders, you name it.”

“So instead of sticking to a rigid plan, we adapted today on the fly, and the goal is just simply to have her walk out of the gym feeling better. Thankfully, through a full body, activation, mobility, stretching circuit, we were able to achieve that goal.”

“And now we’ll be more prepared to push harder tomorrow, and that’s a big thing for pro-wrestlers – depending on how your body feels, you may need to adjust the workout for the day.”
