Top Star Says Cody Rhodes & The Young Bucks “Forgot” To Invite Him To All In 2018

Cody Rhodes The Young Bucks All In

One top star set for a huge match at Wembley Stadium says Cody Rhodes & The Young Bucks forgot to ask him to be part of the first All In.

Before All Elite Wrestling began to take shape, Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks accepted a bet from Dave Meltzer to sell more than 10,000 tickets to an independent wrestling show. The result was All In, which took place near Chicago, IL on September 1st, 2018 in front of a sold out crowd.

The show featured talent from top promotions across the globe, with stars from ROH, NJPW, NWA, and more. However, Will Ospreay’s name was nowhere to be found on the card, and according to the man himself, this was due to an oversight from those putting the show together.

Ospreay took to social media ahead of his upcoming match inside Wembley Stadium to reveal that he was never asked to be part of the historic show in 2018. Ospreay wrote:

True story.
Cody asked months after the first one “why wasn’t you on All In”

My reply was “you didn’t ask”

Essentially they forgot to message me to be part of their history.

Took long enough but finally part of All In at Wembley Stadium…And I’m not All Elite…I’m Above It

Will Ospreay Vs. Chris Jericho Set For AEW All In 2023

On August 27th, AEW will be making its UK debut inside Wembley Stadium when it presents the first edition of All In under the All Elite banner. The show is set to be the largest professional wrestling event in history, surpassing the record set by WWE at WrestleMania 32.

On the August 16th episode of Dynamite, Ospreay made a shock return to All Elite Wrestling for the first time since his highly-acclaimed match against Kenny Omega at Forbidden Door. While Chris Jericho had agreed to join Ospreay’s ally Don Callis, it was revealed that Callis had a painting of a beheaded Jericho, and Ospreay attacked Jericho as the Demo-God was trying to get revenge on Callis.

Jericho issued a challenge to face Ospreay at All In, and the match was later made official.
