Top Raw Star Confirms Break From WWE

A top Raw star is currently on a break from WWE. The star in question is Nikki Bella.

After being away for three years, Bella returned at the 2025 Royal Rumble (February 1, 2025) as the final entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, eliminating Bayley before being eliminated by Nia Jax. She then made her full-time in-ring return on the June 9, 2025, episode of Monday Night Raw.

Lately, she’s been involved in a feud with Stephanie Vaquer over the Women’s World Championship. The rivalry got more interesting after The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez got involved in the storyline.

Bella was last seen in action on the December 29, 2025, edition of Monday Night Raw, where La Primera defeated Bella and Rodriguez to retain her title. It has been a couple of weeks since Bella appeared on RAW.

On the latest episode of The Nikki and Brie Show, Nikki revealed the reason behind her WWE absence, confirming that she’s currently taking a break from WWE.

“I feel like right now, with my time off, I need to take one [a digital detox/break from digital devices]. But I still have some things to post, but then I am going to take one,” she said.

Nikki Bella Was Planned For Shorter WWE Run In 2025

Last month on Outspoken with Bruce & Gaydos, Nikki Bella revealed that her 2025 comeback was supposed to last for only three months. But it has now been over a year since she returned, and she’s been enjoying her time in WWE very much.

“It was the perfect time to be like, I need to find out who — I need her to be back and Nikki Bella’s the one that brings me back… It was supposed to be three months and now it’s been a year and it’s gonna go even longer and it’s been incredible. I have just loved it.”

Elsewhere, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in November 2025, Nikki Bella shared her retirement plans, revealing that her current WWE run will be her last.
