Tommaso Ciampa’s AEW In-Ring Debut Set For This Week’s Collision
5-time WWE Champion Tommaso Ciampa surprised everyone as he made his AEW debut on tonight’s Dynamite at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Austin, Texas.
The Psycho Killer was with WWE over the last decade before deciding against renewing his contract with the Stamford-based promotion. He announced his decision to the fans last week.
With his contract meeting its expiry, Ciampa was free to make an appearance for any promotion without waiting for a non-compete and made his AEW debut just days after leaving WWE.
Tommaso Ciampa set to wrestle at AEW Collision
Mark Briscoe defended his TNT Championship against El Clon tonight and emerged victorious against the Don Callis Family member. A lot of his championship defenses have been against members of the Family recently.
He announced an open challenge for the title for this Saturday at Collision, and that’s when Ciampa made his entrance. He faced Briscoe, with whom he shares a storied history, in the ring and accepted his challenge.

With Ciampa accepting the challenge, he will make his in-ring debut at AEW Collision this Saturday, and could end up becoming a champion in his very first match in the promotion.
