A wrestling veteran thinks WWE’s The Vision stable doesn’t need to add a particular member of the roster.

It was over a year ago when The Vision was formed on the WWE Raw brand. In its current iteration, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman manages Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed (currently out with an injury), and the World Tag Team Championship duo of Logan Paul & Austin Theory.

While Breakker is likely going to be pushed the most as a singles wrestler and has the potential to be a future WWE World Champion, it’s certainly possible that other members of the group become World Champions in WWE, too.

In recent weeks on WWE Raw, Austin Theory has been in the background of some scenes talking to Maxxine Dupri, which has led to some speculation that WWE may want to add Dupri as a female member of the group, even though The Vision are heels and Dupri has been a babyface in WWE.

On his Keepin’ It 100 podcast, wrestling legend and AAA Hall of Famer Konnan, who has a lot of experience as a booker in pro wrestling, suggested that The Vision doesn’t need Dupri to be in the group.

“First of all, they don’t need her. That’s number one. Number two, I’m a big stickler for not sticking people on the main roster before they’re ready…right.

Now if you’re lucky enough to get like…El Grande Americano in Mexico, that immediately took off and became a sensation, then you should take advantage of that, right? But she was still green, bro. And so I would just send her back to NXT, get some more training and come back again.”

It’s worth noting that the former Women’s IC Champion Maxxine Dupri is married to NXT’s Kam Hendrix, who is new on the brand after being on LFG for two seasons.

Seth Rollins Revealed Why He Formed The Vision in WWE

The Vision was officially formed on the Raw after WrestleMania 41 when Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman were aligned together from WrestleMania, and they added Bron Breakker to the group. A few months later, Bronson Reed joined. The idea was that Rollins was setting up WWE for the future by aligning with talented younger wrestlers.

In an interview with WWE, Seth Rollins gave his perspective on why The Vision was formed.

“Maybe a little bit of insecurity. You know, I looked at the landscape, and I was starting to, kind of, pile up enemies—CM Punk, Roman Reigns—when you have Roman Reigns, you have the entire Bloodline. So, there was a lot of people who were sort of eyeballing what I was doing, what I was saying; they didn’t like it, and so I felt like at that stage, there were a lot of, pardon the pun, visions of what the future of the company could or would or should look like.

And to be honest with you, I just don’t trust Roman Reigns. I certainly don’t trust CM Punk. I don’t trust either of them to be kind of figureheads and the leaders, and so I felt like I was the best person for that job. I felt like I was in a unique position where I had to kind of take care of those guys, but then I needed to insulate myself on the backside of that.

And also, I wanted to not just do this thing for me, but to pass it along to the next generation, and for me, Bron Breakker was the perfect fit for that.”
