The Rock Makes Huge Personal Revelation Amid WWE Hiatus
While he has been away from the WWE, The Rock made a massive revelation regarding his personal life and health.
The Rock has been on the TKO board of directors for a while and his last WWE appearance took place at the Elimination Chamber PLE last year, where he played a part in John Cena’s heel turn. While fans anticipate The Great One’s return on TV, he has been busy with his other projects. Meanwhile, Rock has made a revelation about his recent major health scare.
Speaking with Esquire Magazine, The Rock disclosed that he was recently scared about possibly being diagnosed with testicular cancer, as his doctor thought so. Rock had to appear for the Jumanji press event with the scare, but he assured everyone that he is fine:
I’m fine. But I didn’t know that then, and the thing was really painful. So I had to live with that for those twenty-four hours, not knowing—and I had to be on all day, joking around, making speeches. But! I’m okay,” Rock revealed.

The Rock could be on the card for WWE WrestleMania 43
WrestleMania 43 next year is set to take place in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, many fans are hopeful that The Rock could have a match at the major event possibly against Roman Reigs. Rock’s last match took place at Mania 40.
Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast recently, Eric Bischoff was asked what marquee match WWE could book for WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia. Eric said that Saudi fans want to see older names, so Rock could be one of them, along with John Cena in a non-wrestling role:
They want older names that are not easily available, which makes me think Rock because if that same kind of vintage hangover, we’ll call it legacy hangover, is still part of the audience composition in terms of what they want to see, then obviously bringing Rock back, John Cena in some kind of non-wrestling related role is probably going to check those, we’ll call them nostalgia boxes.”
Eric Bischoff further said that he sees The Rock on the card for WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia:
Those fans that are looking to the early 2000s or mid 2000s as the peak WWE period, you got Rock, you could bring John Cena in to participate. Couple other nice little moves and then balance the rest of the card out with younger talent. But I do see Rock on the card in Saudi for WrestleMania,” Bischoff said.
Only time will tell when The Rock will be back on WWE TV.
