The Birthright Edge One Step Closer To NXT Championships Tonight

WWE NXT has seen the formation of a new and exciting stable over the last few weeks as Lexis King collected a group of similarly minded individuals to come together and dominate on the black and silver brand.

Being the son of Brian Pillman Jr, King bonded with other second-generation superstars present in NXT and aligned himself with Ariana Grace and Stacks initially as they’re the daughter and to be son-in-law to Santino Marella.

They then took Fit Finlay’s son, Uriah Connors, under their wing before finally adding Charlie Dempsey, the son of William Regal, to their group after courting him for weeks.

The Birthright advances in the NXT Tag Title tournament

Dempsey joined the group after William Regal and Fit Finlay made an appearance on NXT last week, serving as mentors to The Birthright. The group then entered the NXT Tag Team Championship tournament.

They faced Hank and Tank in the first match tonight and advanced to the next round to edge one step closer to the titles. Lexis King sacrificed himself to push Stacks out of the way of a Hank and Tank attack.

Stacks was then hit with another move by the former champions, but Uriah Connors had tagged himself in to become the legal member, and he snuck up behind Hank and rolled him up for a win.
