The Bella Twins Reveal Their Current WWE Goal
The Bella Twins are back in WWE in full capacity.
The twins competed in the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble match, with Nikki appearing for the first time since December 2025, whereas Brie was seen for the first time after four years.
During a 2019 episode of their reality TV show Total Bellas, the siblings revealed that they had retired from in-ring competition. The following year, they were inducted into the Hall of Fame class of 2020.
The Bella Twins made their first appearance in two years by participating in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match. In March 2023, they revealed that their contracts had expired and they had no desire to renew them, instead choosing to focus on their respective personal lives.
Nikki Bella returned to WWE in 2025 as a full-time competitor. On more than one occasion, she advocated for the return of Brie, hoping that the Stamford promotion would offer her a contract, too.
Their hopes of reuniting came true at the Riyadh premium live event on January 31.
The Bella Twins Aim For The Women’s Tag Titles
The Bella Twins have elevated goals this time around.
During a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, Brie Bella revealed that she and Nikki were going after the Women’s World Championship, currently held by Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky.
When Nikki and I both fully retired, there was no WWE Women’s Tag Team Title. So, when I saw that come, I’m like, “That was meant for us.” And so, for me now, it’s like I really want for The Bella Twins to go after those titles. [15:21 onwards]
On the February 2 episode of WWE Raw, Brie and Nikki Bella officially reunited as a tag team and put the women’s division on notice, and claiming that they were coming for the women’s tag titles.
