The WWE Hall of Fame 2026 ceremony will take place on April 17, the night before WrestleMania 42.

Former co-CEO and chairwoman Stephanie McMahon is set to headline the event and be inducted as one of the two individual inductees alongside former world champion AJ Styles.

The ‘group’ category comprises Ax and Smash of Demolition, who once held the honor of being the longest reigning tag team champions (478 days) between 1988 and 1989.

Five-time NBA champion and a former member of the nWo, Dennis Rodman, will be inducted into the ‘celebrity’ bracket, whereas Sycho Sid and Bad News Brown will be added to the 2026 Legacy class.

WWE also announced that the Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant bout from WrestleMania III will be commemorated with the Immortal Moment Award.

Ted DiBiase Questions Dennis Rodman’s Induction Into The WWE Hall Of Fame

Ted DiBiase has shared his thoughts about the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026 inductees, singling out the induction of Dennis Rodman.

‘The Million Dollar Man’ was inducted into the 2010 class before WrestleMania XXVI.

Speaking on his Everybody’s Got a Pod podcast, DiBiase claimed that seeing Rodman’s name on the list “pi**es me off a little bit.”

He wasn’t a wrestler. You’re gonna put a guy who might have been in a wrestling ring two or three times in the Hall of Fame just because of his name. Put him in the Basketball Hall of Fame where he belongs, but not the wrestling Hall of Fame.

The 72-year-old said that the celebrity category of the HOF had gone overboard with the list of inductees. In doing so, he even called out the past inductions of Donald Trump, Drew Carey, and Pete Rose. He compared them to Jimmy Hart, who was not an active wrestler but was a great mouthpiece for whoever he managed.

Jimmy Hart was never a wrestler. He was a great mouthpiece, and I think that is deserving. Because he put in a lot of time. But to put a guy in the wrestling Hall of Fame just because he has a celebrity name in baseball or basketball, that just irks the hell out of me. What did they really do to deserve being in a wrestling Hall of Fame? Nothing.

I was a pretty good football player. Why don’t they put me in the NFL Hall of Fame? I think that’s stupid.

The ended his rant by saying he did not care about rubbing off someone in the Stamford promotion.

I’m in the WWE Hall of Fame because I was a wrestler. I grew up in wrestling. Wrestling was virtually my whole life. You take somebody who’s a great athlete in one sport, put him in the ring one time or two times, and then make him a Hall of Famer. See ya.
