Tatum Paxley Retains Title On NXT Revenge Week 2 Following Brutal Casket Match
Former NXT Women’s North American Champion, Blake Monroe, has been on a quest to become the Women’s North American Champion once again and has targeted the current champion.
The Women’s NA Champion, Tatum Paxley, has been on Blake’s radar ever since she defeated Izzi Dame in a Steel Cage match during a special episode of NXT in Houston, Texas.
She attacked Paxley following the match and ran away with her title, forcing Paxley to defend it against her at Stand and Deliver earlier this month. Paxley ended up retaining the belt at the biggest NXT show of the year.
Following her loss at Stand and Deliver, Monroe was gifted a custom Women’s North American Championship by the Vanity Project, leading to a Casket Match for the Women’s North American Title between Monroe and Paxley tonight.

The two women had a wild match that saw them push each other to the extreme limit. Monroe was desperate to get the win and tried hitting Paxley with her custom title but ended up losing the title in the casket.
At one point, both women fell into the casket together as it closed, however, the referees decided to let the match continue to determine a winner. Blake seemed desperate to win the title back at any cost.

She used a fire extinguisher on Tatum Paxley before hitting her with the Glamour Shot DDT on the outside. She then rolled her into the casket and almost closed it but Tatum escpaed by using Monroe’s custom title.
A frustrated Monroe dragged Tatum out of the casket and assaulted her with the custom title. She followed that by spreading diamonds in the ring and looked to hit a Glamour Shot DDT on them. Paxley managed to escape that and instead hit Monroe with the Cemetary Drive on the diamonds to knock her out into the casket and slammed it shut to retain her title.
