The penultimate match of NXT Stand & Deliver saw Tatum Paxley defend her Women’s North American Title against the woman who has held her title hostage, Blake Monroe.

Paxley won the title from Izzi Dame at NXT Vengeance Day last month and then retained the belt after beating her in a Steel Cage match during a special episode of NXT in Houston.

However, following the match, she was attacked by Blake Monroe, who stole the Women’s North American Title from the champion, leading to their match tonight.

Paxley and Blake put on an amazing fight tonight as it remained an evenly matched fight between the two women. However, it was Tatum Paxley’s night as she showed incredible resilience against Blake.

Monroe tried every dirty move in her power to get the belt back. She took off the protective pads on the middle and bottom turnbuckle to distract the referee before grabbing hold of the NA Title.

She hit Paxley in the face behind the referee’s back and planted Tatum for the pin but the champion kicked out. Later in the match, she headbutted Paxley in the ring and she hit her head on the exposed turnbuckle.

Blake took advantage of that and hit a Glamour Shot DDT for the win, but Tatum kicked out once again. Just as Blake was about to go for another DDT, Tatum reversed it into the Cemetary Drive to get her belt back from Blake.
