Suspended AEW Stars Could Miss Full Gear

The Elite AEW

With two months before Full Gear takes place in Newark, NJ on pay-per-view it looks like several of AEW’s stars currently serving a suspension could miss the show.

CM Punk had a great night in the ring in his hometown of Chicago at All Out as he defeated Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Championship for the second time. After the show, things took a drastic turn as Punk to the post-show media scrum to get a few things off his chest.

Punk addressed rumours of him having anything to do with his former friend Colt Cabana’s diminished role in the company, something that he strenuously denies. The AEW World Champion also addressed his issues with Hangman Adam Page and took aim at the AEW EVPs without naming The Young Bucks or Kenny Omega.

This led to a physical altercation when The Young Bucks confronted Punk in his locker room and several stars including the entirety of The Elite as well as CM Punk appear to now be suspended.

This has led to changes being made for the advertising for Full Gear in November with Interim AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm replacing CM Punk on the promotional poster for the event. The Elite is also missing from the poster meaning they may potentially miss the show if the situation surrounding the suspensions rumbles on until then.

Also of note is that the entire four-person House of Black stable is still shown on the poster despite reports that Malakai Black has received his release from AEW.
