Surprising Update On Jade Cargill’s WWE WrestleMania Plans

Jade Cargill WWE Women's Champion

WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill defeated Tiffany Straton to win the title from her at Saturday Night’s Main Event in November. While her victory was met with widespread praise, the same can’t be said about her reign.

Since winning the title over three months ago, Cargill hasn’t defended the title even once and has barely been involved in in-ring action. She has only logged in 7 minutes and 25 seconds in singles in-ring action since becoming champion.

Her rivalry with Jordynne Grace has been heating up on SmackDown, and the two will face each other this week for the championship. This may even play directly into her plans for WrestleMania 42.

Jade Cargill’s WWE WrestleMania plans haven’t yet been finalized

A recent report from WrestleVotes Radio states that while Cargill is expected to head into Vegas as the WWE Women’s Champion, plans regarding her match and opponent are still being finalised.

There are several top contenders that WWE is considering to put against Cargill, with the likes of Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Starton being discussed as her WrestleMania opponents.

Wrestlevotes Radio is reporting that WWE has yet to determine the direction of the WrestleMania SmackDown Women’s Title match. Many possibilities have been discussed, with Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton among some of the more pitched options to face Jade Cargill.”

Meanwhile, Jade Cargill is set to defend her title this week on SmackDown, after bickering with Jordynne Grace over the last few weeks, but with this report, it seems like the champion will come out on top eventually.
