Sting & Darby Allin Teaming Up At AEW Grand Slam

Sting Darby Allin

Sting is heading to New York City for AEW Grand Slam.

On Dynamite in Cincinnati, Darby Allin was in action as he teamed with Nick Wayne against Matt Menard and Angelo Parker. However, the match had two very interested observers as Christian Cage and TNT Champion Luchasaurus watched on from the commentary position.

Allin picked up the win after a Coffin Drop on Parker but Christian Cage had seen enough. Taking to the microphone, Cage began by telling Wayne that he’s made a special request for the 18-year-old’s mom to share more bikini pictures on her Instagram before turning his attention to Darby Allin.

Christian Cage wants another shot at Sting & Darby Allin

Allin and Sting had defeated Christian Cage and Swerve Strickland in a Coffin Match at All In but Cage had an excuse for that before handing out another challenge:

“There’s still a lot of talk about Darby and Sting’s win in London, and as the Franchise here, it’s embarrassing. Now I just want to remind everyone I did not take the loss for that match, and I didn’t have my regular partner with me. So, I propose next week, Darby Allin and Sting against me and Luchasaurus. If you’ve got the balls, I’ll see you in New York City!”

The confirmed card for AEW Dynamite Grand Slam in New York City is:

  • MJF (c) vs. Samoa Joe – AEW World Championship
  • Saraya (c) vs. Toni Storm – AEW Women’s Championship
  • Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs. Eddie Kingston (c) – Winner take all for the ROH World and NJPW Strong Openweight Titles
