Steve Austin had some encouraging words for one of the biggest superstars in WWE.

It was announced on January 22nd that the WWE 2K24 video game coming out in March will have three cover athletes. Cody Rhodes will be on the standard cover of the game while Bianca Belair and the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley will both be on the Deluxe Cover of the game.

When it comes to being a top star in WWE and being on the covers of things like video games, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin knows a lot about that. Austin is arguably the biggest superstar in WWE history and somebody whom Vince McMahon called the “greatest superstar of all time” during Austin’s Hall of Fame induction in 2009.

While Steve Austin retired as an active competitor in 2003, he was able to have one more match at WrestleMania 38 in 2022 when he beat Kevin Owens in Night One of that year’s WrestleMania.

These days, Austin is something of a mentor to a lot of current stars who grew up watching him and idolizing him.

Steve Austin Is Proud Of Bianca Belair

In a video posted by @WWEGames on Twitter/X, Austin had this congratulatory message for one of this year’s cover athletes, the former WWE Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.

“Hey Bianca, it’s Stone Cold Steve Austin here to tell you congratulations on being on the cover of WWE 2K. I remember your career when you first started and I saw this very charismatic young performer and I was like ‘Wow.’ The athleticism is off the charts. If she can put all this together, she’s going to be a contender. She’s going to be a superstar.”

“Congratulations on all of your achievements. I know you have so much more to give. So many more great matches to be involved in. But congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished. You’ve realized your potential and you’re going to go even further than you are right now.”

As for his own wrestling career, Steve Austin seems content to stay retired since he recently said a match with The Rock would be in “slow motion” if they ever tried to recreate the magic they had in the ring decades ago.
