Stephanie McMahon Claims WWE Burned Footage Of Her Wardrobe Malfunction
Stephanie McMahon has claimed WWE burned the footage from her infamous wardrobe malfunction that left her very exposed.
The incident occurred early in her on-screen career when Stephanie McMahon was positioned to take a Pedigree from Triple H while standing on an announce table.
At the worst possible moment, her outfit failed, creating a situation that could have been disastrous if captured clearly on camera. Fortunately, the angle and timing prevented the moment from becoming widely visible, something McMahon says would have been impossible to contain in today’s social-media era.
Years later, the moment resurfaced during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, where Stern’s team attempted to locate the footage. According to McMahon, the clip was unusable due to its poor quality, and WWE had long since avoided that camera angle entirely.
Stephanie McMahon Staring At Her “Naked Boobs”
Speaking on her What’s Your Story? podcast with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, McMahon relived the mortifying ordeal:
I was staring at my own naked boobs out there… thank God people didn’t really see because I was all bent over. But if social media was around — oh, yeah. I see our cameraman at the time, Marty, and he’s like pointing like crazy. And I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ It was so embarrassing and horrifying.
That footage was supposedly burned.
Trish Stratus recalled her own issues with her in-ring wardrobe during a landmark match from her own illustrious career.
