As WWE is heading to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, the November 4th edition of SmackDown was taped in advance and we have the results right here.

The November 4th episode of SmackDown opened with Liv Morgan taking on Sonya Deville in a No Disqualification match. The bout is said to involve numerous weapons and the finish came after Morgan dropped Deville onto a pile of chairs with Oblivion.

Next up, LA Knight cut a promo and hit on Ring Announcer Samantha Irvin. This didn’t sit well with Ricochet, who is currently in a relationship with Irvin. He attacked Knight to kick off a match between the pair. Knight was able to pull off the victory after reversing a roll-up and holding onto the ropes for leverage.

The Usos came out to hype their match at Crown Jewel and claimed they’ll be the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions after they defeat the Brawling Brutes at the event. This led to the New Day coming out to remind them they’ll be waiting if the Usos do retain. Butch and Ridge Holland then appeared and attacked The Usos, however, Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa ran to the ring to even the odds and The Bloodline stood tall to end the segment.

The next match saw Shayna Baszler, accompanied by Ronda Rousey, defeating Natalya by submission. After the bout, Baszler continued her assault and busted Natalya’s nose open with a knee to the face.

Braun Strowman then handily defeated five men who had been handpicked by MVP. He then proceeded to Powerslam MVP several times before finally leaving the ring.

In the main event, GUNTHER put the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Rey Mysterio. In a match that is said to have been great, the Ring General retained his title over the veteran.
