Shocking! Top WWE Star Slapped After Referencing Vince McMahon On WWE RAW

Vince McMahon was unexpectedly referenced on tonight’s episode of WWE RAW.

The former chairman left the Stamford-based promotion in 2024 amid being sued by former employee Janel Grant for alleged sex trafficking and sexual assault. Since then, he has barely been referenced on WWE TV.

As Cody Rhodes kicked off tonight’s episode of RAW, he was interrupted by former WWE Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon, who explained that she came to warn The American Nightmare about his WrestleMania opponent, Randy Orton.

Stephanie McMahon Slapped Cody Rhodes For Referencing Vince McMahon

As the conversation became heated between Cody Rhodes and Stephanie McMahon, the latter told the Undisputed WWE Champion that he needed to think like Randy Orton to beat the current version of The Viper.

She added that Rhodes’ father, WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, understood that more than anybody and could get “down and dirty” with the best of them. Stephanie then claimed that from what she had seen, Cody was not his father.

Rhodes was not happy with the former chairwoman’s comments and went on to defend his abilities, stating that he was not afraid of Orton. He then took a shot at Stephanie, referencing her father, Vince McMahon.

You wanna bring up father? I’m not mine, you’re right. Stephanie McMahon, with all due respect, you’re not yours either.

A furious Stephanie did not take that lightly. She took a step back before shockingly slapping Rhodes across the face.
