The WWE Hall of Famer, Mick Foley, received a cheap shot by a major star following his AEW debut. The top star in discussion is Maxwell Jacob Friedman.

Mick Foley has been out of in-ring action since he last competed in the 2012 Royal Rumble match. He was later inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and was associated with the Stamford-based promotion for years through a legends deal as well. However, Foley announced last year that he is cutting ties with the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut due to their political differences. Since the announcement, it has been rumored for months that Foley could join AEW.

Amid all the rumors, Mick Foley recently announced that he is officially All Elite, revealing that he will make his debut at the AEW Double or Nothing 2026 pre-show. The former WWE Champion received a huge ovation from the crowd when he showed up during the pay-per-view as well.

During the AEW Double or Nothing buy-in pre-show, Mick Foley made his highly anticipated All Elite debut. He also got confronted by the top star, MJF, who will challenge Darby Allin for the World title in the main event of the show. As Max tried to insult Foley, the 60-year-old legend clapped back with a few of his own. Foley also told MJF that he will lose to Darby Allin in the main event and lose his hair, as his hair will be on the line during the main event.

It didn’t sit well with MJF, as he hit a low blow on Mick Foley. Max was also about to hit Foley with his Diamond ring before Darby Allin came to the rescue. Before leaving the ring, the WWE Hall of Famer gave a pep talk to Darby ahead of his World title match against MJF.

It will be interesting to see if Darby Allin manages to retain the AEW World title in the main event.
