Sheamus Flaunts Impressive Physique Ahead Of Rumored WWE Return
Sheamus has not been seen on WWE television since November 2025.
The Celtic Warrior’s last match was on the November 17 edition of Monday Night Raw, where he teamed up with Rey Mysterio and John Cena to face The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh).
In a highly entertaining match, the babyfaces came out victorious after Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment on McDonagh.
Sheamus, meanwhile, was also scheduled to be a part of Cena’s “Last Time Is Now” tournament, but was pulled due to his injury.
The confirmation about his injury came in the form of an Instagram video from his wife, Isabella Revilla-Farrelly, who claimed that they had visited the Birmingham Surgery Center in Alabama to have his shoulder looked at.
In April 2026, the 48-year-old provided a health update, revealing that he had begun facing issues after his Clash in Paris match against Rusev. He initially worried that he had suffered a ligament tear, and while he found reprieve, the issue only escalated.
Yeah, this one has been difficult. It kind of came out of nowhere. I started noticing my shoulder around May-June at Clash in Paris against Rusev. It was bothering me and I thought I tore it. I got a couple of shots in there and it felt good for a little while, but ultimately it was just a matter of time before it stopped moving on me.
He also claimed that he underwent surgery on December 30 and had been in rehabilitation since then.
I tried to push through it to the point where I couldn’t move my arms. I had surgery on December 30. Ever since then, I’ve been rehabbing. I’m dying to get back in the ring and back to work. I have cabin fever.
Sheamus Shares Health Update Amid Absence From WWE
During his time away from WWE, Sheamus also suffered a personal setback when he lost one of his pets. The former WWE Champion shared a heartbreaking social media post for his dog, describing her “incredible journey.”
Months later, he has shared another health update, this time posting a picture of himself, donning an impressive physique, alongside his trainer.
