Shane McMahon Breaks Silence On Wife’s Oscar Nomination
Shane McMahon has issued his first public comment after his wife was nominated for an Academy Award.
The nominations for the 2026 Oscars are out, and there was bad news for one major name in the world of wrestling. The Rock had been tipped for a nomination for his portrayal of troubled ex-UFC star Mark Kerr in The Smashing Machine, but after missing out on the Golden Globe for that role, he missed out altogether for an Academy Award nomination.
However, someone The Rock knows very well had reason to celebrate after the shortlists were revealed.
Shane McMahon’s wife, Marissa McMahon, is a producer on Train Dreams, a period drama that follows the life of Robert Grainier. The movie has been nominated for four Academy Awards: Best Original Song, Best Cinematography, Best Adapted Screenplay, and the big one, Best Picture.
Shane McMahon Proud Of Wife’s Success
Taking to social media, Shane McMahon showed how proud he was of his wife’s achievements as he wrote:
Congratulations Marissa Mac on a dream come true. You are in rare air with your movie Train Dreams receiving 4 Academy Award Nominations. This movie would not have been made without you. You are an inspiration to me and our three sons. Declan, Kenyon Rogan and I could not be happier for or more proud of you. So well deserved Let’s Go!
