Seth Rollins’ Status For WWE Royal Rumble 2026
The Royal Rumble is only a few days away, and many fans are wondering if Seth Rollins will be a part of the event.
Rollins suffered a shoulder injury last year while wrestling Cody Rhodes in a singles match for the Crown Jewel Championship. He was then kicked out of his faction, The Vision, and stripped of his World Heavyweight Championship, and since then, he has been on a hiatus from WWE TV.
In a recent interview with ESPN’s First Take, Seth Rollins addressed his status for the Royal Rumble, saying that he will not be at the event. He stated that his injury is yet to heal completely and that doctors would not allow him to wrestle in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this Saturday.
Seth Rollins is “Not Expected” To Be At WWE Royal Rumble
Building on that information, Fightful Select recently provided an update on The Visionary’s Royal Rumble status. Fightful Select stated that most people in WWE do not expect Seth Rollins to be at the event because he is not ready for any physical action.
Fightful reported, “He at least claims he won’t be at the Royal Rumble. Most in WWE did not expect him to be physically ready for it.”
However, when it comes to WWE, you can never be sure. Rollins is a mastermind at pulling tricks. Everyone remembers the “ruse of the century” he pulled on CM Punk at SummerSlam when he faked a knee injury.
So it is possible that he has completely healed and keeping his Royal Rumble return a surprise by saying he is not ready, only to make a shocking appearance at the last moment and steal the show as he has done in the past.
At least, that is what WWE analyst Sam Roberts believes. On a recent edition of Notsam Wrestling, Roberts predicted a scenario where The Visionary could make a shocking return at the Royal Rumble and take revenge on The Vision for kicking him out of the group.
