Seth Rollins To Return At WWE Royal Rumble In Insane Scenario

Seth Rollins is currently absent from WWE due to injury.

The Visionary suffered a legitimate shoulder injury during his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. The Vision later turned on him on RAW. The 39-year-old was forced to relinquish his World Heavyweight Championship as he was taken off TV to recover from his injury.

Over the past several weeks, Rollins has been vocal about his intentions to get his revenge on The Vision. Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts proposed a scenario where The Visionary would make a shock return at the Royal Rumble to take out The Vision.

I think if you’ve got the entire Vision in the Royal Rumble, who’s gonna help take out The Vision? I would love to see Seth Rollins return at the Rumble. Seth Rollins could return at the Rumble. I mean, look, I’m not a doctor, so I don’t know what his timeline looks like.

I know that he was doing commentary on the dude in Taipei. I believe it was climbing up the skyscraper on Netflix over the weekend. Got plenty of time to get to Riyadh. Didn’t have a sling on. Hasn’t had a sling in a while. And in the Royal Rumble, if he comes out at 30, it’s not like he has to do a ton of time in the Rumble. Like, you could come back for the Rumble and not really wrestle again for another coupld months and still be on TV and still so, you know, I mean, not go crazy with it. I would love to see Seth Rollins back for the Rumble and I would hope that we will. [57:59 onwards]

Seth Rollins Claimed He Won’t Be At The WWE Royal Rumble

In a recent interview with ESPN’s First Take, Seth Rollins addressed his status for the Royal Rumble, disclosing that he would not be participating in the match.

The Visionary clarified that his doctors would not allow him to make his comeback just yet.

Pump the brakes on me participating in the Royal Rumble. I’m not there yet. I just got my rotator cuff done in October. I have a couple months left to go. I wish I could get myself in there, but that’s not going to be the case. I’ll give it away. I’m not going to be at the Rumble. I just can’t. I would love to be in there and dump all those dudes over the top rope and punch my card to WrestleMania, but the doctors are not going to let it happen this time around, unfortunately.
