Seth Rollins recently returned from an injury at Elimination Chamber. He had sustained a shoulder injury at Crown Jewel last year during his match against Cody Rhodes.

The Visionary recently sat down for an interview with the Boston Herald, where he opened up about his WWE future. Rollins has been in the business for a long time, and he admitted that he might be on the verge of retirement.

He didn’t provide an exact timeline, but he gave fans the impression that he could call it quits in a few years.

“I’m closer to the end of my career than the beginning, but I still feel like I have a lot to give. I’m excited to be able to do that as we march forward to WrestleMania,” Rollins said.

Seth Rollins’ WrestleMania 42 Status

Although Seth Rollins returned to television, he is not medically cleared for in-ring action. But hopefully, he will be cleared in time for WrestleMania 42.

According to earlier reports, WWE had planned a massive blockbuster match between Seth Rollins and his betrayer, Bron Breakker. However, Breakker is currently recovering from hernia surgery, and therefore, he will miss WrestleMania 42.

Reports then emerged claiming that Seth Rollins would face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, with the storyline being that Lesnar would avenge Paul Heyman following Rollins’ brutal attack on Raw a few weeks ago.

However, fans recently found out that Brock Lesnar will instead take on Omos at the Grandest Stage of Them All this year. It will be interesting to see if and how WWE fits Seth Rollins into the WrestleMania 42 match card this year.

According to Dave Meltzer, Rollins could face Logan Paul at Mania this year.
