Seth Rollins was involved in an interesting incident on the NFL Network.

In addition to being a WWE superstar and 6-time WWE World Champion, Seth Rollins is also a huge NFL fan who has been a guest host on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football for most of the past year.

While Seth Rollins isn’t on GMFB every day, he is on multiple times a week when he can fit it into his busy schedule as a WWE superstar appearing on Monday Night Raw.

On Thursday, April 23rd, Seth Rollins was in Pittsburgh at the NFL Draft site, sitting at a desk with co-host Kyle Brandt, a former college football player and longtime host of GMFB. Brandt is somebody who has been a pro wrestling fan and done promos with Rollins on the show.

Their interaction on GMFB led to a discussion about Green Bay Packer legend Aaron Rodgers, who was the Pittsburgh Steelers QB in 2025. It’s not known whether Rodgers will return for one more year in 2026, at the age of 42.

Brandt: “Rodgers was winning games in his forties, and none of them were predetermined.“

Rollins: “You say it’s not personal, but it’s starting to feel a bit personal, to be honest with you. The bottom line is that wrestling at WrestleMania is more difficult than playing in the NFL at 42, especially if we’re talking about Aaron Rodgers at the quarterback position. These guys don’t get hit. They’re protected. They don’t get hit. They go down when they want. WrestleMania’s not like that.”

Brandt: “I love wrestling and have watched it my whole life, but I’m not going to sit here on the NFL’s Network and dignify this question. The NFL at 42 vs. wrestling at 39… the NFL at 32 is more impressive than wrestling at 39. The NFL at 22 is more impressive than wrestling at 39. Any seventh round pick tonight can go off the top rope.”

Seth Rollins Was So Angry That He Walked Off GMFB’s Set

At WrestleMania 42, in his first match since suffering a shoulder injury in October 2025, Seth Rollins lost to Gunther in a very physical match because Bron Breakker interfered and cost Rollins the match.

The discussion between Brandt and Rollins got so heated that Brandt even mentioned Seth’s wife, Becky Lynch, who won the Women’s Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania. It led to Rollins walking off the set.

Rollins: “Yeah, you know what? I don’t really appreciate this. I don’t have to do this. I don’t have to be on your show. I do want to be here, but not when I’m treated like this. I don’t have to do this. You want to steal every segment? You want to steal all the show, that’s your thing…”

Brandt: “Why don’t you steal one, I’m waiting…”

Rollins: “I’m here right now and actually have a segment, so you don’t have to look at me…”

Brandt: “Seth’s gonna go, maybe we can get Becky to come in and actually win something for us. That’s how it works for you guys, so maybe she can do the segment. He’s taking his ear piece off — what are you doing?”

Rollins: “I told you, you can do the rest by yourself. You can do the rest by yourself.”

Brandt: “Oh, thank God. Finally. This is going worse than you and Paul Heyman…” (H/T Cageside Seats)

That last remark by Kyle Brandt was a shot at Seth Rollins and his failed run with The Vision, managed by WWE Hall of Famer, Paul Heyman.

What isn’t known is whether this was a legit argument or if it was just classic pro wrestling work. Most likely it was a work, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
