Seth Rollins has shared some insight into an injury that affected him for most of 2025.

At the WWE Crown Jewel PLE, Seth Rollins was the World Heavyweight Champion who defeated the WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to become the Crown Jewel Champion, which didn’t mean much other than getting a ring that is ignored for most of the year.

Unfortunately for Seth Rollins, he suffered a serious left shoulder injury during the Crown Jewel match and had to have surgery to repair it. Rollins will miss about six months of in-ring action, meaning he could return in time for WrestleMania 42 in April, but that could be cutting it close.

In a new interview with Complex News, the former 6-time WWE World Champion Seth Rollins admitted that he was dealing with some serious neck pain in 2025 as well.

“Last year, my neck was destroying me. That was really bad… During the summer last year… I couldn’t go 30 seconds without fidgeting.”

Neck Pain Affected Seth Rollins’ Personal Life

As he continued, Seth Rollins added that the neck pain he was dealing with affected his daily life with his wife, Becky Lynch, and their young daughter.

I had to get in a different position, I had to jam my thumb into my neck. I mean, it was not fun and then had to try to go to work and wrestle and be normal and stuff like that and the worst part is when your daughter wants to play and you’re like, ‘Ah, daddy needs a minute…’

It’s seeing her disappointed is the worst feeling in the world. I can get through wrestling stuff, whatever. But seeing my daughter disappointed and the sadness on her face because daddy can’t pick her up. That hurts. That sticks with you.”

During a recent interview, Seth Rollins said that having time off has been nice because it’s given him more time at home with his family, but he’s also eager to continue his wrestling career.
