Seth Rollins Confesses To Committing Major Mistake In WWE

When looking back on how The Vision was formed, Seth Rollins admits he made a mistake.

Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman officially formed The Vision on the Raw after WrestleMania 41, just two days after Rollins beat CM Punk and Roman Reigns in a triple threat main event match. Heyman shockingly helped Rollins win the match against two of Heyman’s former allies.

Rollins and Heyman welcomed rising star Bron Breakker into The Vision, with the idea that Breakker is the future of WWE and would be guided by the wisdom of Heyman and Rollins. Later in 2025, Bronson Reed also joined the group.

Unfortunately for Rollins, he suffered a shoulder injury in October 2025 that required surgery, so he was attacked by Breakker and The Vision and kicked out of the group. Would it have happened in October if Rollins hadn’t suffered the injury? Perhaps not, but that’s the way it happened with the group.

In an exclusive interview with WWE ahead of his match against Bron Breakker at Backlash, Seth Rollins admitted that forming a group with Paul Heyman was a mistake.

“That was a mistake on my behalf. I think Paul has been a thorn in my side for over a decade when he was the advocate for Brock Lesnar and he was the Wise Man for Roman Reigns. This is a guy who always latched on to people that would give him power.

And at some point, it became necessary for me to have him on my side so I didn’t have to deal with him on the other side. It was kind of one of those keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer situation.

There’s always been a mutual respect between myself and Paul, but we had never stood on the same side of the sand. To have him on my side, I felt like I could control it a bit better and handle him if I had him on my side. And if our visions were aligned, it would be less for me to deal with on the back end.”

Seth Rollins Calls Paul Heyman A Liar

At WWE Backlash, Seth Rollins will face Bron Breakker in a huge grudge match that is clearly one of the biggest matches on the show. There isn’t a title on the line, but it’s a chance for Rollins to show he’s still a top guy while facing somebody who is more than a decade younger than him.

After Paul Heyman went on ESPN to declare that Backlash will be the end of Rollins, The Architect fired back at Heyman for telling lies.

“Oh Paul, come on now. You’ve told some lies in your life, you don’t really believe half the things that come out of your mouth.

I know you don’t believe 100% of that I just saw come out of your mouth. The end of Seth Rollins? Sir, I am just getting started.

I’ve got WrestleMania main events in the future lined up for me. Bron Breakker, he’s going to be your cash cow? Paulie, he ain’t ready, baby.”
