Seth Rollins is reveling in once again being a “championship family” after Becky Lynch’s WWE NXT Championship win.

The September 12th episode of NXT saw Becky Lynch capture a prize that previously eluded her when she pinned Tiffany Stratton to become the new NXT Women’s Champion, finally earning her way into the record books as a Grand Slam Champion.

Speaking on the latest edition of WWE’s The Bump, Seth Rollins praised his wife for her accomplishments as well as showing respect to Stratton, who he called an honorable champion.

“What a great match! Say what you want about Tiffany Stratton — she brought it, man. She brought the fight, she was an honorable champion in that match. They went toe-to-toe [and] the better woman won. That’s just how it is.

“It’s nice … it’s been a minute since we both held titles in the house. So, it feels good to be a championship family one more time!”

“I’m Excited To See What The Man Brings To NXT” – Seth Rollins On Becky Lynch As NXT Women’s Champion

Continuing, Rollins said he’s excited to see what Lynch does with her newly-won championship as many new matchups are on the horizon for her.

“I’m excited to see what those match-ups look like and how long she [Lynch] is going to run with this thing. She’s got the edge on almost everybody down there, so it’s going be a party. I’m excited to see what The Man brings to NXT.”

Having Lynch in the show’s main event proved a great ratings boost for NXT, and the star took to social media to call herself “Ratings Rebecca” after the fact.
