Seth Rollins answered an interesting question about whether one of his former stables would reunite in WWE.

The former 6-time WWE World Champion Seth Rollins has done it all and won it all during a career that will see him enter the WWE Hall of Fame.

When Rollins debuted on the WWE main roster in November 2012, he was part of a group known as The Shield with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. At the time, Rollins was a former NXT Champion (before NXT was really big), Ambrose was fairly well known, and Reigns was more of an unknown to many WWE fans.

For the next year and a half, The Shield was one of the most dominant stables, attacking and defeating many of WWE’s big names, including John Cena, The Rock, The Undertaker, Kane, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and others.

The Shield ended in June 2014 when Seth Rollins turned heel to become an ally of Triple H. That led to long rivalries between Rollins and Reigns and Ambrose, though there were many reunions as well.

Seth Rollins Thinks A Reunion Of The Shield Is Unlikely Any Time Soon

In a GQ YouTube video with his wife, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins was asked about a possible reunion of The Shield.

“Well, not a lot of love lost between myself and Roman Reigns. Dean Ambrose—Jon Moxley—not currently with the company. Don’t know if he’s ever coming back. I would say the chances are very slim.

Maybe one day there will be a Hall of Fame induction where all three of us will be in the same place at the same time. I would say we’re looking at, like, maybe Kurt Angle has a better chance.”

Seth Rollins making the Kurt Angle-Shield reference was about how, at TLC 2017, Angle filled in for Reigns to team up with Rollins and Ambrose as they won a 3-on-5 TLC Match.

As for Jon Moxley, he left WWE in early 2019 when his contract expired and joined AEW. Since then, Moxley has arguably become the biggest name in AEW history, having held their World Title more than anyone else in company history.
