Samoa Joe Names Top Tag Team As Potential ROH Hall of Famers

Samoa Joe TNT and ROH TV Champion

ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe has praised one of the company’s top teams, saying they should be in the Hall of Fame.

At ROH Final Battle on December 10th, Samoa Joe defended successfully defended the ROH World Television Championship against Juice Robinson.

It was the latest in a long line of achievements the star has achieved in ROH, including being one of the first men to be inducted into the company’s Hall of Fame in January 2022.

Speaking on the post-show media scrum, Samoa Joe was asked who he thinks should be added to the Hall of Fame in future. After admitting it would be a long list, Joe named the new ROH Tag Team Champions, The Briscoes, as deserving of the honour.

“It’s a long list. I mean, obviously, I think the Briscoes are up there. When you talk about stalwart guys who held down the fort and really represented ROH for a considerable amount of time, you gotta think about the Briscoes.”

Discussing what would qualify someone for the Hall of Fame, Samoa Joe said it should be people who have had a “long-lasting impact” on the wrestling industry.

“These are not people that you don’t know. I think everybody is well aware of who the Hall of Famers are in ROH because of the impact they’ve had on this industry — the long-lasting impact they’ve had on this industry.”
