Rusev Has A Serious Warning For WWE RAW’s Recent Acquisition
Rusev has some strong words backstage for this new WWE star during Monday night Raw.
Rusev is in the WWE Intercontinental Title picture and featured in the six-man ladder match for the title at WrestleMania 42, along with Je’Von Evans, JD McDonagh, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and the Intercontinental Champion Penta.
At one point during the match, when he tried to climb the ladder, he was taken down by Je’Von Evans, who jumped through the air and delivered a devastating OG Cutter to Rusev.
Penta eventually climbed the ladder and retained the gold on the night. Je’Von Evans then had a match against WWE’s newest signing, Ethan Page, on Raw. Rusev interfered during the bout to attack Evans and distracted him, which eventually led to Page getting the upper hand and winning the bout after landing his move “Twisted Grin” on the Young OG.
Penta then raced to the ring to try to help Evans and became part of the action.
On the latest episode of Raw, Page was ringside as Penta took Rusev on in a non-title bout. Penta won with a rollup on Rusev, but was later attacked and double-teamed by the latter and Ethan Page. Evans then came down to help Penta, and this set up a tag team match between the two sides next week on Raw.
Rusev Issues Warning To Ethan Page Ahead Of Their Tag Team Match Against Penta And Je’Von Evans
Ethan Page was interviewed backstage by Byron Saxton, who highlighted Page’s impact in his two weeks on Raw.
As All Ego went on one of his narcissistic retorts about becoming the new Intercontinental Champion, the Bulgarian Brute interrupted the interview. He told Page that he will be the one that the new WWE star will have to worry about, and not the Intercontinental Title.
